This service includes compound services that include early measures such as data collection and calibration of rainfall-runoff models, and validation relations of meteorological forecasts. This service is carried out by a software package for information management and simulation of runoff-rainfall model, and snow mapping. Since 2005, Karoon4 dam and Power Plant project, which is a sub-group of Iran's Water and Power Resources Development Company, has used this service. Currently, dam and power plant project of Bakhtiari and Khersan3, and dam utilization project of Gotvand and Karoon4 use this service. The contracts are annual and seasonal, and are made each year depending on the needs of the customer. This service is usable for flood warning and optimal utilization of water resources.
